We’re experimenting with building peer groups of Operations leaders at rapidly scaling startups.

What will we do together?

<aside> 🛠 WORK | Each session we’ll tackle an active challenge a group member is facing as a team. Even if the topic isn’t relevant to you today, there’s a good chance it will be one day or you’ll have recently tackled it and be able to provide another perspective.

Who should apply? 👥

• “Operations” means something different at each company. For this group it means you own 2 or more of the following areas at your company: Finance, People, Business Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, really anything not technical.
• Your title could be VP Operations, Director/Head of Operations, or COO but you are a leader at your organization. We know better than anyone that your title may be something else so don’t hesitate to apply.
• Generally, we’re targeting aspiring or first-time COOs. These first few reps leading Operations can feel quite overwhelming, and this group is here to help you feel like you’re not alone in the messiness. Our goal will be to match people with folks that are around their same stage and level of experience.
• You work at a growing tech startup. While the economy is quite different than it was a year ago, your business and team are still growing and things are changing quickly.
• Your company likely has between 50-250 employees. This stage in a company’s life is one of the trickiest, and one of our favorites.

When is it? 🗓️

We’ll meet every other week for 90 minutes over Zoom. For our first group(s), we’re aiming for mid-January through mid-March. Once we’ve identified our first group, we’ll send out a survey to find the time that works best for the majority of potential participants.

What is the cost? 💲

We’ll start with 3 months for $2500 (this breaks down to $415/session). If it’s going well, we’ll discuss the option to extend as a group. Ideally at some point, your group will “graduate” and you’ll hang together by choice, for free.
